School Opening Hours
The structure of the school day is shown below. There is a 30 minute registration and tutor time each day, along with 5 lessons of 60 minutes each and 2 breaks of 30 minutes each. The tutor period focuses on reading, literacy, oracy, assemblies, character and personal development, and careers. It aims to support students' overall development and success in their studies, and strength in these areas enhances students’ ability to learn.
The timetable is delivered over a fortnight. Whilst much of the week is consistent there are some differences between week 1 and week 2. Students have the Arbor app at home, their SRB and signage around school to help keep them on track.
We operate a 38-week school year which includes a two-week half term break in October/November each year. The full school calendar for this year can be found here.
